Onyfix
Do you suffer from involuted, pincer or ingrown toenails?
The Onyfix Toenail Correction System offers a completely new way to treat involuted, pincer nails painlessly to prevent them from ingrowing.
This versatile innovative product for pain-free treatment of curled, problematic toenails, is brand new to the UK.
The Class 1 Medical Device has been designed to correct painful ingrown toenails through the application of a 2mm band of resin applied directly to the nail. As the nail grows, the applied resin band gradually lifts curved nails into correct alignment without pain or the need for surgery.
Onyfix is regularly monitored by our clinicians and there may be a requirement for more bands to be added depending on the nail’s deformation and the desired future shape.
The Process
Firstly, our clinician will trim and thin your affected involuted, pincer nail.
Our clinician will then adapt the onyfix system to meet your requirements and apply the Onyfix resit to the nail and then polymerise it using blue light, hardening the resin application into the desired contour. The whole process is pain-free, during application and throughout the entire growth treatment.
When treatment has been completed successfully and the nail has grown out in the intended shape, your clinician removes the Onyfix Toenail Correction System; a process that is also pain-free.
The Onyfix Toenail Toenail Correction System can be used on Adults and is particularly well suited to Children.
