Love sports, but worried about injuries?

Troubled by recurring foot pain, knee pain or back pain?

Even if you are having pain walking, gait analysis or biomechanical assessment can help highlight your risk of future injury and diagnose the root cause of your pain.  To clarify, foot, ankle, knee, hip and back pain isn’t normal! Relief could be simpler than you think.

A biomechanical assessment allows us to understand the impact of forces and stress on your body.  From this, problems caused by sports and other physical activities can be identified and resolved.

How could a Gait analysis help you?

Do you enjoy sports or keeping fit, but worry about injury?  Are you affected by issues such as lower back strain, flat feet, arch, and metatarsal pain or leg pain?  Stay at your best, regardless of how active you choose to be with a Biomechanical Assessment.

A treatment plan will be specifically tailored to you.  As a result, we will have you back doing the activities you enjoy sooner than you think!  Our qualified and experienced clinicians will prescribe the right orthotics for you.

Where can I get an analysis?

Our clinics in Beeston – Nottinghamshire and Ilkeston – Derbyshire offer convenient appointment times for you.  Subsequently, have freedom from lower limb aches and pains such as runner’s knee, heel pain, plantar fasciitis and metatarsalgia.

What will happen at my appointment?

Our degree-qualified footcare professional will undertake your assessment.  As such, your appointment will usually take around 60 minutes.  At your appointment, we’ll spend time finding out about you and your lifestyle to allow us to find the right solution for your concerns.  We’ll examine your muscle strength and joint range of motion.  Your biomechanical assessment will mainly focus on your hip, knee, ankle joints and foot function using the latest technology.

We’ll create a treatment plan that’s right for you

We’ll use all this information to create a treatment plan which matches you and your lifestyle. If your condition is caused by a mechanical imbalance of a joint, our clinicians may prescribe orthotics.

Orthotic insoles

Your orthotic devices are designed to improve the way in which joints are aligned.  These take the form of shoe inserts or custom-made insoles. We will focus on your needs, which is why we offer gait analysis and bespoke orthotics fitting appointments at convenient times at our Nottingham (Beeston) and Derby (Ilkeston) footcare clinics.
